Jyotish chart and its navamsa

The North Indian diamond — first house at the top, the rest counterclockwise, signs rotated onto fixed houses from the Lagna. Underneath it is the navamsa, which is not a second chart but the same instant at nine times the magnification: every sign subdivides into nine, so a graha can land somewhere quite different. Here the Sun moves from Aquarius to Gemini. Each line follows one graha from the house it holds above to the house it holds below.
